The Trust's largest project to date, carried out with Heritage Lottery Fund grant aid, was the conversion into four flats and a cottage of the long empty and redundant pub - a building that had stood unused for eleven years before its acquisition by the Trust. The project also allowed a Housing Association to provide eight social housing units in the former pub yard.

The restoration of the street frontage included the removal of the textured paint finish, restoration of the front door case to its original central position, remodelling of the old pub corner, new sash windows on the ground floor, and reconstruction of the dormers on the cottage

At the time of completion, all five units had been sold within ten days of being on the market. This was a highly encouraging outcome after a long period of vacancy when the property market had been difficult but reflected the high standard of the trust's refurbishment.
